Terms of Service

By accessing or using Kasyon (kasyon.ph) and its related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including event planners (customers), event suppliers, and visitors. By creating an account or using any feature of Kasyon, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Kasyon is an online marketplace that connects event suppliers with individuals and organizations planning events in the Philippines. The Service enables:

• Event suppliers to create professional profiles, list services, and receive inquiries from potential customers • Event planners to discover, compare, and contact suppliers for their events • Both parties to communicate and transact through the platform

Kasyon acts as an intermediary marketplace and is not a party to any agreements made directly between customers and suppliers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services advertised by suppliers on our platform.

Account Registration: To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to keep it updated.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@kasyon.ph if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Account Types: Kasyon offers two account types — Customer and Supplier. You must use the account type appropriate to your intended use of the platform.

Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm other users.

You agree NOT to use Kasyon to:

• Post false, misleading, or deceptive information about yourself or your services • Harass, threaten, or harm other users • Engage in fraudulent activity or misrepresent your identity • Collect or harvest other users' personal information without consent • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights • Distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited communications • Circumvent or disable any security features of the platform • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform without permission • Violate any applicable Philippine or international law

Kasyon reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these policies.

Suppliers using Kasyon agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their services, pricing, and availability • Hold all required business permits, licenses, and registrations required by Philippine law • Honor commitments made to customers through the platform • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner • Not engage in price gouging or deceptive pricing practices • Comply with consumer protection laws applicable in the Philippines

Kasyon reserves the right to verify supplier information and remove listings that do not comply with our standards.

Customer Plans: Certain customer features are available on a subscription basis. Pricing is published on our Pricing page.

Supplier Plans: Suppliers may use the platform free for the first 3 months. After the trial period, paid plans are available as published on our Pricing page.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed through PayMongo. By making a payment, you agree to PayMongo's terms of service. Kasyon does not store complete payment card information.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

Kasyon's IP: The Kasyon platform, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and content created by Kasyon, is owned by Kasyon and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Kasyon's proprietary content without written permission.

User Content: By uploading content (photos, descriptions, reviews) to Kasyon, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

DMCA / Copyright: If you believe content on Kasyon infringes your copyright, contact us at hello@kasyon.ph with details of the alleged infringement.

No Warranty: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Kasyon's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Kasyon in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Third-Party Transactions: Kasyon is not responsible for disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions between customers and suppliers. We strongly recommend that both parties verify credentials and enter written agreements before any transaction.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Kasyon harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

Your use of Kasyon is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

We encourage users to resolve disputes directly with us first by contacting hello@kasyon.ph. We are committed to fair and timely resolution of concerns.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice on our platform at least 30 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically. Previous versions will remain accessible on our website.
